After 10 months of conception, and 7 rejected prototypes, THEY HAVE FINALLY COME TO LIFE!
The Ultimate Protective Gloves with wrist protection and support that all Wheelers, Skaters Wheelers, Skaters and Rollerbladers have always wanted to have, are coming in limited stock from the end of August on the shop !
For those who are curious about the history of the design of these gloves:
Being naturally cautious (too much so in the eyes of many ...) when I started riding the GyroRooter, I naturally used the wrist guards that I used for rollerblading.
The problem is that after one or two low speed falls, I quickly realised that scraping your fingers on the tarmac happens faster than you think! And then in winter I was far too cold.
So I switched to motorbike gloves.
But then hello to the wrists in case of falls... After desperately searching all over the web for gloves with wrist protectors, I finally understood that they simply did not exist. I had to resign myself to wearing my gloves + my protections.
The aesthetics were not good enough and the size was really horrible. But at least I was well protected.
One year later, after many discussions with other wheelers who had experienced the same disappointment as me, I decided to create the perfect pair of gloves, because after all, you're never better served than by yourself!
Luckily, shortly after I started this project I met
Fred Wheelers a very experienced Wheeler and founder of
Wheeler33 a well known association in Bordeaux. He was very good at advising me on how to improve the first prototypes I presented to him.
A big THANK YOU to him for his kindness and expertise.
Anyway, after 7 prototypes, the 8th one is finally the right one! The production is finished, the gloves are on their way and should be available at the end of August on the shop !
This first production includes 50 pairs of size M and 70 pairs of size L. If the model is successful, other sizes and colours will be produced later.
